Thelonius is an 'only' mouse, and the story begins when his father tells him he is about to become a brother! Very soon he finds himself the brother of twin sisters but discovers when they return from hospital that his father has no time to play football with him and his mother is always busy with the babies. Things begin to get better when his father asks his advice about names for the twins (he decides on Thelonica and Melodica) and even better when Thelonius discovers he can entertain the babies and that there is going to be a party to celebrate their arrival. I really like this book; it's funny, unusual and deals well with the emotional upheaval for a child experiencing the arrival of a new baby in the family.
