A writer who can always be relied upon to provide funny and coherent tales for juniors. Here, there's a contemporary edge to the wit around the invention, and the subsequent stealing, of a board game called 'Redundo', with forfeits like 'More local government cuts - go back to Dole'. Satirical edge to exploits takes its appeal up to 11. Predictably inventive, quirky pictures from McKee.
