Another example of packaging that's likely to deter the older audience who would most enjoy the contents. This is a tense, pacey cops/robbers/hostage yarn centred around a deserted house about which Kerry Blake harbours romantic notions, and where two drugs couriers, vicious Ax and uncertain young Carl hole up whilst the former plots revenge on an erstwhile associate. Kerry ends up in the wrong place at the right time and before you can say 'Mad Ax' she and her widowed mother are embroiled in an traumatic few days. The diverse strands of narrative, the well-drawn build-up of tensions, and the changing relationship between captor and captive lead to a credibly unusual ending. Well worth promoting.
