When Finn throws a fit, it’s a terrific one! Raging storms of thunder and lightning, avalanches and earthquakes, hurricanes and blizzards rampage through the house – and all because he has decided that on this particular day he doesn’t want a peach. His loving parents (and the family dog), seeing the storm approaching, do their best to mollify, but the tantrum must run its course, and at the end, Finn becomes his sweet self again. There are wonderfully anarchic illustrations, full of explosive weather systems at the centre of which is the cause of it all, spiky little Finn. This is the terrible twos with a vengeance, but so funny with it that we can laugh as well as realise that, just perhaps, there may be easier ways to refuse to eat a peach!
