Flop-Ear (a rabbit who is just that little bit different with his one turned-down ear) wants to make friends with Annie. He tries various ploys: wearing his grandfather's spectacles, dressing up in various ways, carrying around lots of carrots, but nothing works until he finds that Annie likes him just the way he is. Painted in bold colours with heavy black outlines, the artwork is simple and suits the engaging nature of the two little rabbits in a warm-hearted story about friendship.
